Tiger Trails Jungle Lodge was conceived with a singular philosophy: every design decision, every amenity, every staff appointment should serve the ultimate goal of delivering you closer to Tadoba's extraordinary wildlife. Positioned just 3 km from Moharli Gate — Tadoba's most tiger-rich entry — the lodge offers morning safari departures that can have you inside the park within 10 minutes of waking.
The lodge sits on 8 acres of private land bordering the reserve's buffer zone. The property's mature teak and mango trees host their own resident wildlife — spotted deer wander the garden at dawn, Malabar pied hornbills call from the canopy, and the occasional civets and mongooses investigate the lodge periphery after dark.
With 16 thoughtfully designed rooms across three categories, Tiger Trails strikes the right balance between comfort and immersion. This is not a five-star hotel in the jungle — it is a proper jungle lodge where comfort enables rather than distracts from the wildlife experience.

Forest Room
Comfortable, well-appointed rooms with a private patio facing the lodge garden. The 280 sq ft space includes an ensuite bathroom with hot water, air conditioning, and forest-theme décor crafted from natural teak and bamboo.
Deluxe Room
Elevated experience with a larger 380 sq ft layout, private sit-out with forest-edge views, upgraded amenities, and priority booking on morning safari jeeps for the best positioning at Moharli Gate's most productive water holes.
Jungle Suite
The pinnacle of comfort at Tiger Trails — a 520 sq ft standalone suite with a private plunge pool, outdoor shower, butler service, and all-inclusive safari packages. For guests who want the jungle without any compromise on luxury.

Moharli Gate Safari — Our Specialty
Tiger Trails guests have the significant advantage of proximity to Moharli Gate — Tadoba's most prolific tiger zone. Our lodge handles all permit procurement, jeep assignments, and naturalist briefings. You simply wake up and go into the wild.
5:30 AM Morning Departure
Guests assemble at the safari deck at 5:30am. Naturalist briefing, hot chai, and pugmark update from the night patrol. Jeeps depart at 5:45am to reach Moharli Gate for the 6:00am first entry.
Private Jeep per Group
Every party gets their own private jeep with a dedicated certified naturalist. Maximum 6 guests per vehicle. Our guides specialize in Moharli zone's known tiger territories and can interpret animal behaviour in real time.
Real-Time Tiger Intelligence
Our naturalists are in constant radio contact with the Moharli forest department and other guide networks. Real-time tiger location updates are shared across the network to maximize sighting opportunities for all guests.
Afternoon Safari Option
A second afternoon safari slot (2:30–6:30pm) is available for guests who want double coverage. Our Deluxe and Suite packages include both morning and afternoon safaris.

Bonfire Evenings
Every evening, a bonfire is lit in the central garden. Guests gather for storytelling, star gazing, and sharing the day's sighting highlights with naturalists.
Bird Watching
Guided bird watching walks within the lodge property and surrounding buffer areas. Binoculars and species checklist provided. Over 80 species recorded on-property.
Nature Walks
Guided nature walks in the buffer zone surrounding the lodge. Learn to track wildlife, identify medicinal plants, and understand the complex ecology of the Tadoba forest.
Outdoor Lounge & Garden
8-acre garden with outdoor seating areas, hammocks, and wildlife viewing decks. Spotted deer and mongoose are regular garden visitors throughout the day.

Jungle-to-Table Dining at Tiger Trails
The Tiger Trails kitchen follows a forest-fresh philosophy — seasonal local produce, regional Vidarbha recipes, and Indian hospitality at its warmest. The restaurant is a simple, open-sided space where guests watch the garden as they dine, often spotting birds and small wildlife between courses.

Hot Indian breakfast including poha, upma, idli-sambar alongside continental options. Fresh fruit, juices, tea/coffee. Pre-packed breakfast boxes available for 5:30am safari departures.

Full à la carte menu featuring Vidarbha specialties — Savji chicken, wardha dal, usal pav — plus continental light meals. Light pool-side snacks available all afternoon.
🌙 Dinner (7:30 – 10:00 PM)
Candlelit dinner in the garden or restaurant. Multi-course meals with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Themed dinners — tribal cuisine night, Maharashtrian feast — on select evenings. Bonfire dinner packages available.

Location & How to Reach Tiger Trails
From Nagpur Airport
~130 km | ~2.5 hours. The lodge provides airport pickup service. Book through us — driver meets you at arrivals. Cost: ₹4,500 per vehicle (one way).
From Chandrapur
~40 km | ~50 minutes. Take the Chandrapur–Moharli road. The lodge is 3 km before Moharli Gate on the left. Well-signposted from Chandrapur bypass.
From Chandrapur Station
~40 km by taxi (~₹1,000–₹1,500 one way). Pre-arrange with us for complimentary pickup for Deluxe Room and Suite guests. Nagpur to Chandrapur train takes 2.5 hours.
